Retention Policy

The native AnywhereNow Retention Policy as visible in the SharePoint "Retention Policy" menu have been discontinued for Dialogue Cloud and are therefore End-Of-Support (EOS). It is no longer possible to renew Client ID and/or Client Secrets for customers who may have had the feature configured in the past. When your existing Client Secret expires the Retention Policy service will cease to exist and cannot be re-activated.

The functionality to delete values in a SharePoint Online site (from Libraries like Recordings or Voicemails, or Lists like CallSummary) after a specific time can and should be done with SharePoint Information Management Policies or Microsoft 365 Power Automate the native process automation service of Microsoft 365.
