Release Notes - Hotfix release DC2023.04f

This document contains a list of the updates and current versions of AnywhereNow software and components.

Announcement

DC2023.04f has been made available in a Phased Roll-out to selected customers from September 17th, 2024, with an expected General Availability (GA) no sooner then October 1st, 2024.

Update 27-09-2024: This Bundle will not be made available as GA due to an identified issue in Dialogue Studio API nodes for text messages (text messages like Chat or e-mail processed by DS will prevent Dialoguemanager from operating correctly). A solution for this will be addressed in the first upcoming hotfix. Please keep a lookout for our next hotfix release expected to be DC2023.04g.

Ucc.Creator scripts (SharePoint UCC A Unified Contact Center, or UCC, is a queue of interactions (voice, email, IM, etc.) that are handled by Agents. Stop adding to BlockingCollection before Dispose in various integrated Core plugins.

Several Core plugins could raise a BlockingCollection after a shutdown initiation of a UCC service preventing the UCC from shutting down (specifically disruptive when a restart was requested/expected). This defect was also a cause of a small memory leak in these plugins when Consultative transfers were processed.

WFMPlugin - Error updating SkillPerAgents.

The WFM plugin could not process some changes (updates and deletes) in the SkillPerAgent list entries. This has now been addressed

Fixed an issue in DialogueManager where the file extension for media files was not correct on channel WhatsApp.

Attached audio files (whether recorded with the microphone button or attached with paperclip and file search attachment) to a WhatsApp message were not marked as audio file and treated as a text file. Hence these could not be opened. now specific audio file types (.ogg, .opus, .wav) files will now be recognised and can be played back directly or downloaded.

Addressed various random script errors in Dynamics 365 CTI integration.

We have found that several mechanisms of the Microsoft.CIFFramework are not necessary anymore. We have removed the continuous polling mechanism, and a separate call to getEnvironment() is not required anymore as the data from onpagenavigate contains all the information WebAgent needs.

Crm Service logs were permanently retained.

Now the amount of days to retain logs is configurable and purged after that. Fixed that logs are once again deleted after X amount of days and that this is configurable.

Hyperlinks generated by CRM Customer Relationship Management, or CRM, is (usually) a software-based, data management method to deal with interactions with customers and potential customers. Service plugins are now encoded to HTML standards.

Hyperlinks generated by our CRM service providers in Webagent were not properly encoded and would therefore sometimes not work due to wrong characters being encapsulated in the Url parameters.

WebWallboard Call Status Issue in Delight transfer, transferee Agent shown in Busy State instead of In-a-Call.

In intermediate state of a Delight transfer, when initial hunted Agent performs delight transfer of a customer to another agent and all three participant are in the (conference) call, initial agent is displayed on WebWallboard with Activity "In-a-Call", while transferred-to agent is shown with Activity "Busy". Now a Delight transfer will also show the transferred to agent (who is an active participant in the conference call) with activity "In-a-call" and not just "Busy", on the webwallboard.
