Introduction

AnywhereNow Professional Services or selected Partners can assist you in migrating UCC A Unified Contact Center, or UCC, is a queue of interactions (voice, email, IM, etc.) that are handled by Agents. Each UCC has its own settings, IVR menus and Agents. Agents can belong to one or several UCCs and can have multiple skills (competencies). A UCC can be visualized as a contact center “micro service”. Customers can utilize one UCC (e.g. a global helpdesk), a few UCC’s (e.g. for each department or regional office) or hundreds of UCC’s (e.g. for each bed at a hospital). They are interconnected and can all be managed from one central location. Sites from one site to another. They will do this with an advanced PowerShell scripts and other tools and extensive (regional) knowledge in their possession. What this script does

The copy settings script can, for example, be used to:

  • Copy UCC sites to a new site (optionally copying site permissions).
  • Backup and Restore UCC sites to the same location.
  • Copy the contents of libraries only (like Recordings or Voicemails)
  • Aid in migrating to a newer Ucc.Creator version (creating new ucc.creator sites is required prior to copying all settings).
